Frequently Asked Questions
Feeding Dogs Like Family — One Fresh Bowl at a Time
1. What makes your food different from store-bought kibble or wet food?
Unlike most commercial dog foods, our meals are made fresh with whole, recognizable ingredients—just like you'd cook at home. We don’t use fillers, preservatives, or mystery meat. Every recipe is lab-tested for balanced nutrition.
2. Is your food vet-approved or tested?
Yes. Each recipe is professionally lab-tested to ensure it meets AAFCO nutritional guidelines. While we're not a vet-run company, we work with pet nutrition experts to make sure your dog gets everything they need—without the junk.
3. How do I feed this to my dog? Is it a full meal or a topper?
Each recipe is designed to be a complete, balanced meal. We provide portion sizes based on your dog’s weight and activity level, and you can always reach out for help adjusting meals as needed.
4. How long does the food stay fresh?
Meals arrive chilled or frozen in vacuum-sealed packs. They stay fresh in your fridge for up to 5 days or in your freezer for 3+ months.
5. I have a picky eater or a dog with allergies—what if they don’t like it?
We totally get it—Pepper (our Boxer and Chief Taste Tester) used to turn her nose up at kibble too. That’s why we offer a starter pack and use limited, clean ingredients in each recipe. If your pup doesn’t love it, we’ll work with you to find a better fit.
6. How much does it cost?
We believe healthy food shouldn’t break the bank. Our meals start around $3–5 per day, depending on your dog’s size. Many of our customers find it’s less than the cost of treating allergies or gut issues later on.
7. Do I have to subscribe?
Nope! We offer one-time orders and flexible deliveries. You’re in control—and we’re happy to earn your repeat business one meal at a time.
8. Where do you deliver?
We currently hand-deliver in Schuylkill County, PA and surrounding areas. Not sure if you're in our range? Just send us a message and we’ll let you know!
9. Who makes the food?
Everything is made by Bryan—an Army veteran and dog-dad chef—right here in Frackville, PA. What started as a way to heal his own dog, Pepper, is now a mission to help dogs in our community live better lives through real food.
10. How do I get started?
Try a sampler pack or reach out for a custom meal plan. We’ll guide you every step of the way.
